From Struggling SaaS to Sustainable Success

Making it good at scale means admitting that it must be different and embracing the changes that you’ll need to make to keep things from falling apart.

A short story about Jo

Jo is the (fictional) founder and CEO of a 5-year old SaaS company. Every ounce of her energy, and every spare dollar, has gone into keeping her company alive and chasing growth.

In the early days, the signs were promising. The product was fresh, the market was curious, and deals came in. But, momentum has stalled.

Another quarter end. The team has pushed hard to hit the numbers, but the final report said it all, they’d missed. Badly.

Jo doubled down. She hired more BDRs, more salespeople. She poured money into marketing. All to no avail, the closed-won column didn’t budge.

Still almost every big deal needed Jo. Investors had come to rely on her closing ability. Her team called her their “secret weapon”. Jo was trapped in a vicious cycle of expectations. And, if the business only won when the founder was in the room, it was on a road to nowhere.

If Jo’s story feels uncomfortably familiar, if you see your own challenges in hers, then we should talk.

I can help you find the gaps, operationalize for scale, and get your company back to growth!

My approach

I have built successful SaaS businesses by creating compelling products and go-to-market strategies rooted in storytelling. I’ve shaped high-performing teams, and led organizations through transformational growth and successful exits.

In every case, sustainable, long-term success wasn’t accidental, it was intentional. Success follows when teams are aligned not just on what they do, but why and how they do it.

My leadership philosophy centers on storytelling as strategy. I work to craft clear, compelling narratives that unite teams and connect with people on a deeply human level. Whether launching a product, scaling a business, or driving cultural change, I champion the human element at the heart of it all.
